Sustainable oral hygiene and what it means to us
The health of your teeth and gums is the top priority. Choosing a toothbrush should primarily be a decision in favor of your oral health. Sustainability it's not a trend for us, but it is present in every stage of our decisions.
Here is why we committed to finding the right raw material that was not only sustainable but also safe.
plant-based material
ll handle of promis brush (and also the holder) is composed, depending on the formulation, up to the 90% from biopolymers derived from renewable sources such as corn starch, sugarcane, cellulose, lignin, natural resins, waxes, oils, natural fatty acids, cellulose, biological additives, and natural reinforcing fibers.
Sugar cane
Our tubes are made by the waste of sugarcane production, a resource renewable. The plant captures CO2 during its cultivation and reduces pollutant gas emissions.
PET bottles
For the mouthwash, we opted for a PET bottle. 1. it is recyclable at 100%, 2. is light and shatterproof. Glass was not an option as it is too heavy and we cannot guarantee safety during transport.
Recycled plastic
The dental floss itself and its case are made from recycled plastic, sourced from bottiglie plastic.
Natural ingredients
We don't just limit ourselves to a well-thought-out choice of materials, we have also carefully selected the ingredients. Our products are
completely natural, vegan and certified organic (ECOCERT COSMOS ORGANIC & AIAB), as well as packaged with ecological materials and produced in Europe.
Collapsible tabs
The bamboo and wooden toothbrushes they tend to develop the mold se restano umidi. Questa può formarsi sia sul manico che direttamente sulla testina dello spazzolino, perché rispetto agli spazzolini tradizionali le setole non sono ancorate e quindi rimangono piccole cavità dove l’umidità può raccogliersi. Anche la sensazione di spazzolamento in bocca non ci ha convinto. Chi ha già provato sa di cosa parliamo.
Since our products are sold in different countries, we have decided to provide the tubes and mouthwash with an outer box, so that the language can be more easily changed depending on the destination. Furthermore, promis comes from Bolzano (South Tyrol), where bilingualism comes naturally to us.
All our materials are 100% recyclable, except for the promis brush. This must be disposed of with household waste, which is usually incinerated. However, since it is made from renewable raw materials and not from oil like traditional toothbrushes, the process of incineration is almost neutral compared to CO2 emissions.

Our products are manufactured exclusively in Europe. This not only reduces emissions thanks to shorter delivery routes, but also ensures controlled working conditions.
